DRUNK SHAKESPEARE POLICIES

Welcome to Drunk Shakespeare. We want every patron to have a great night, so here’s everything you need to know before the lights go down and the drinks are served.

By purchasing a ticket or entering the venue, you agree to the policies below.

TICKETS & SALES

All ticket sales are final.

Tickets may be exchanged for an alternative date or time up to 48 hours before your showtime, subject to availability. To request an exchange, utilize the patrong booking management link in your confirmation email.

Your ticket admits one per to a single performance. You will need to provide the name of the person who booked the ticket at the door.

Buy only from official sources. Purchase tickets directly through our website or through our authorized partners. We can’t guarantee the validity of tickets purchased from unofficial resellers or third parties, and we’re unable to honor or refund tickets that are fraudulent.

AGE & ID POLICY

This is a show with alcohol, so patrons must be 21+. A valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry and to purchase alcoholic beverages. Patrons who arrive at the venue without valid identification will, unfortunately, not be permitted to enter.

ARRIVAL & LATE SEATING

Doors open 15-30 minutes before showtime, and guests are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. We strongly recommend arriving early.

Because the show takes place in an intimate venue, latecomers may be seated at a hold point at the discretion of house management or may not be admitted until a suitable break. Late arrival does not entitle you to a refund or exchange.

SHOW CHANGES & CANCELLATION

Casting, content, and running order change from show to show. That unpredictability is the point, and is not grounds for a refund.

If we cancel a performance, we’ll offer you an exchange to another date or a refund of the ticket’s face value. We are not responsible for any other costs you may incur, such as travel, lodging, or parking.

REFUNDS

Refunds will be issued only when we cancel a performance or as otherwise required by law. Service and processing fees are non-refundable. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

ALCOHOL & RESPONSIBLE SERVICE

We serve alcohol responsibly and in accordance with state and local law. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and to deny entry to or remove any guest who appears intoxicated or whose behavior affects the safety or enjoyment of others. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Drunk Shakespeare is meant to be raucous, not unsafe. Harassment, heckling that crosses the line, discrimination, or aggressive behavior toward cast, crew, or fellow patrons will not be tolerated and may result in removal without a refund. Please review our full Patron Code of Conduct.

ACCESSIBILITY

We want every guest to enjoy the show. Accessibility varies by venue, so if you have specific needs (wheelchair access, seating accommodations, or other requests), please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & AUDIENCE LIKENESS

We encourage you to take photos & videos throughout the performance, but please be mindful of your surroundings and fellow patrons. Make sure that you tag us on social media @drunkshakespeare #drunkshakespeare.

Please note that the venue may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. By entering, you consent to appearing in such photography or video and to its use by Brass Jar Productions across marketing and media, without compensation. If you’d prefer not to be filmed, let a staff member know, and we’ll do our best to seat you accordingly.

BAGS, SECURITY & PROHIBITED ITEMS

Bags may be subject to inspection on entry. For everyone’s safety, weapons, illegal substances, and outside alcohol are prohibited. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone carrying prohibited items.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Your safety matters to us. Please follow all posted venue guidelines and the directions of our staff. Any health and safety requirements in effect for a given performance will be noted on your city’s event page.

GROUP SALES & PRIVATE EVENTS

Celebrating something? We offer group rates and private event options. Group bookings may be subject to separate terms, deposits, and cancellation rules. See our Groups page or contact us to plan your night.

GIFT TICKETS

Gift tickets are redeemable toward Drunk Shakespeare performances, subject to availability. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
